Hanban Chinese Bridge Summer Camp in China: The Chinese Bridge Summer Camp, sponsored by Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing, offers a two-week summer camp for eligible high school students to study Chinese language and culture directly in China. Hanban Chinese Bridge aims to provide opportunities which spark a lifetime interest in Chinese language and culture learning.

ASU STARTALK Summer Programs: STARTALK is a nationally-funded initiative that seeks to expand and improve the teaching and learning of strategically important languages such as Chinese. The ASU Confucius Institute collaborated with the ASU School of International Letters and Cultures to hold a teacher training program in 2008 as well as a two-week residential camp on Chinese language and culture for high school students from 2009-2016.

Summer Chinese Program at Sichuan University:  In partnership with the Sichuan University in China, the University of Washington, the ASU Confucius Institute and School of International Letters and Cultures, the Summer Chinese Program at Sichuan University offers an intensive eight-week summer program in Chengdu, China. In addition to rigorous language study, the program offers students valuable opportunities to immerse themselves in rich Sichuan culture through weekend excursions, cultural lectures and visits to local historical sites. 

"Healthy Kids, Happy Kids" Science Camp

The ASU Confucius Institute and Confucius Classrooms at Horseshoe Trails Elementary co-hosted the science camp "Healthy Kids, Happy Kids" from July 31 - August 3Students had fun exploring fun topics related to healthy habits through hands-on activities and games in Mandarin.
